--------------------

*home24 SE adjusts revenue estimate for Q4 2018 and FY 2018 *

· *Incoming orders in Q4 2018 with positive growth trend and in line with expectations, but revenue realization partly postponed to Q1 2019 *
· *Currency-adjusted total annual revenue growth of 18-19% and thus total annual revenue of EUR 312 - 315 million in FY 2018 expected (previously EUR 315 - 323 million)*
· *Medium-term growth and earnings forecast confirmed *

*Berlin, 15 January 2019* - home24 SE ("home24", "the Company") today adjusted its revenue estimate for Q4 2018 and the full year 2018 on the basis of information now available. Whereas the order intake in Q4 2018 was within expectations, less revenue than expected was realized until the end of the year 2018.

home24 achieved the most successful week in the Company's history around the shopping event "Black Friday". The strongly increased order volume led to a continued positive growth trend in Q4 2018. However, not all orders could be delivered in December which means that part of the revenue planned for December 2018 will be realized in Q1 2019.

Before this background, home24 now expects 18-22% currency-adjusted revenue growth in Q4 2018 and total annual revenue of EUR 312-315 million which results in an expected currency-adjusted total annual revenue growth of 18-19% in 2018. Previously, the Company had expected 25-31% currency-adjusted revenue growth for Q4 2018. This would have led to total annual revenue of between EUR 315 and 323 million and thus to currency-adjusted growth of more than 20% for FY 2018. Exact figures will be published by home24 in the Trading Update FY 2018 on 13 February 2019.

The medium-term growth and earnings forecast remains unchanged. The Company confirms its forecast that revenue growth in the year 2019 will be at or above the levels of the year 2018 and that home24 SE will reach break-even on the basis of adjusted EBITDA by the end of the year 2019.

ICC Evaluation Service and the Construction Technologies Institute of the Italian National Research Council sign a historic agreement

The Memorandum of Understanding will streamline evaluation processes for U.S. and Italian manufacturers, save time and money, and reduce barriers to trade

Coral Gables, Fla., Jan. 15, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today the ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) and the Construction Technologies Institute of the Italian National Research Council (ITC-CNR) signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding at the University of Miami’s Robert and Judi Prokop Newman Alumni Center. This agreement will help streamline evaluation processes for manufacturers in the U.S. and Italy, save time and money, reduce barriers to trade, and improve market access for safe and compliant building materials.

ICC-ES and ITC-CNR have collaborated in the past as peer companies providing product evaluation reports for construction products to relevant codes and standards, sharing information about their conformity assessment work in America and Europe, respectively. The new agreement formalizes this collaboration and enables the companies to create harmonized pre-standards that will help industry clients to show proof of compliance to such standards in America and Europe – an achievement that aligns with the efforts of the U.S. government to reduce or eliminate technical barriers to trade.

“The International Code Council is honored to be a part of this important agreement,” said Code Council Chief Executive Officer Dominic Sims, CBO. “Our family of companies are global leaders in the building safety industry, and our mission transcends borders. We look forward to continuing to deepen our relationship with our Italian partners as we work to increase building safety around the world.”

“Through this effort, manufacturers exporting building products to the U.S. and Italy can use the Memorandum of Understanding as a tool to conduct a ‘one-stop-shop’ product evaluation,” said ICC-ES President Shahin Moinian, P.E. “This agreement will reduce efforts and costs for manufacturers, and it builds confidence that the evaluated products meet the requirements of both countries.”

The Miami signing event included representatives from the Italian government, the University of Miami, the International Code Council and ITC-CNR, including University of Miami President Julio Frenk and the Consul General from the Italian Consulate in Miami, the Honorable Cristiano Musillo. The University of Miami College of Engineering’s Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering, which tests some ICC-ES products for building code compliance, hosted the signing event.

Eurozone: Headed for recession? - NBF

$

Krishen Rangasamy, analyst at National Bank Financial, points out that the Eurozone witnessed its worst semester in five years with real GDP growth likely coming in at less than 1% annualized in the second half of 2018, the weakest since 2013.

*Key Quotes*

“While 2018Q4 GDP results are not yet available, odds are they won’t be pretty in light of latest data from Germany’s Federal Statistics Office ─ the 1.5% growth print for 2018 points to a soft Q4 for the zone’s largest economy ─, and disruptions to France’s economic activity last quarter due to “yellow vest” protests.”

“The zone’s industrial production seems to have contracted on a year-on-year basis in the final quarter of 2018. The last two times this happened (2008 and 2012), the common currency area eventually fell into recession. Does this latest blotch of red ink on industrial output mean the Eurozone is headed for yet another recession?”

“That possibility cannot be ruled out especially if the deceleration of global trade extends into 2019, social unrest in places such as France and Italy gather momentum and/or Brexit spirals into something worse. But if those can be avoided, the zone has potential to bounce back.” Reported by FXstreet.com 6 hours ago.

Detroiter Launches RevShot to Reach Action Sports and Adventure Travel Consumers

Detroit native Andy Gryczan launched RevShot to create point-of-view videos and aerial views that connect emotionally with consumers of recreational adventures.

DETROIT (PRWEB) January 16, 2019

A Michigan entrepreneur has launched RevShot LLC to serve as a platform for stunning visual content that marketing and sales professionals can use to emotionally connect with consumers drawn to action sports and adventure travel destinations.

Detroit native Andy Gryczan launched the company that specializes in creating point-of-view videos and aerial views to make the visual experience seem real to consumers of recreational adventures, from racing a Ferrari through tight streets in Italy to snowboarding in the backcountry of British Columbia.

“The tagline of RevShot is ‘The Essence of Adrenaline,’ and that pretty well sums up the content that we produce,” said Gryczan, 32, who works on the national IndyCar racing circuit as an engineering manager.

RevShot’s latest video of a snowboarding trip at Baldface Lodge near Nelson, B.C. Canada showcases the company’s POV and aerial capabilities. The video takes the viewer all along the journey, from taking off in a helicopter to dropping into snowboard runs in the Selkirk mountain range in British Columbia’s West Kootenay area. This particular area accessed by snowcat is renowned for some of the world’s best snowboarding, which compelled Gryczan to tell the story. To view the video, go here https://youtu.be/cFPEkCoanNg.

RevShot’s main focus is providing stunning stock video footage that can be used in various marketing capacities. They also offer a selection of stock still photography that captures wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, as well as eye-catching visual scenes ranging in geography from Detroit to the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Samples of content from some of these locations include kayaking at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in the Upper Peninsula, and sunset views in Santorini, Greece. The complete gallery can be seen here https://revshot.net/print-gallery/.

A self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, Gryczan said RevShot was born out of his own interests in videography/photography and the various action sports he is involved in - motorcycle and mountain bike riding to snowboarding and wakeboarding. When he began traveling internationally, he realized a different kind of rush.

“The experience of immersing yourself in a different area and culture almost gave me the same feeling that the action sports do,” he said. “It then became a case of how to marry these two things together. Trying to convey those feelings and share those experiences through videos and photography.

“There is a lot of value in visual content that forges an immediate emotional connection with its target audience, and that’s the type of content RevShot strives to provide.”

Parties interested in contacting Gryczan or viewing more adventure content can visit the RevShot website at https://revshot.net. Reported by PRWeb 5 hours ago.

There's A Roman Pizza Legend In SoHo, And He's Making Pies With Ice

Even in Italy, a nation lousy with famed pizzaiolos, Stefano Callegari stands out, and not just because he's an outsized man with an ebullient personality. Born into a restaurant family, Callegari took a bit of a detour (15 years as a flight attendant) before opening his first pizza shop in 2005, in Rome. He rapidly built an empire on the foundation of his unusually light, crispy crusts and a menu of innovative pies based on classic pasta dishes. Along the way, he also invented the trapizzino, a wildly popular Roman street food. But it wasn't until last month that Callegari finally brought his game to NYC, with the opening of La Rossa on SoHo's eastern edge. I've been here four times already, and it is fantastic.
