Katie Lowes of ABC's 'Scandal' carries Jill Milan to InStyle and Warner Bros. Golden Globe Awards Post-Party.

Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) January 14, 2014

Jill Milan®, a provider of designer Italian handbags, today announced actress Katie Lowes carried the luxury brand to a Golden Globe Awards after party hosted by InStyle and Warner Bros., Sunday night. Ms. Lowes carried the Octagon Clutch in black and gold, which was featured in a recent issue of W Magazine. Ms. Lowes stars in the ABC series “Scandal,” whose lead actress Kerry Washington was nominated for a Golden Globe in the category of Best Actress Television in a Television Drama Series.

“Katie looked lovely Sunday, and the Octagon Clutch was part of a great ensemble she wore,” said Jill Fraser, founder of Jill Milan. “I thought the combination of the clutch with her L’Wren Scott dress was stunning.”

The Octagon Clutch is entirely handmade in Italy by a jewelry artisan. It features an enamel exterior banded by gold-colored metal and a fully lined interior. It has a detachable chain and, in a nod to design simplicity, the bag secures easily with a magnetic closure. The Octagon Clutch is available in black or white, both trimmed in gold.

Jill Milan handbags are made entirely in Italy, by Italian artisans using Italian materials. Features include hand stitching and metalwork handmade by craftsmen who create jewelry for Europe’s leading luxury brands. All Jill Milan products are free of animal-based materials such as leather, fur and wool – Ms. Fraser was inspired to found Jill Milan because she was unable to find high-quality, luxury handbags that were not made of leather or other animal-based materials. She is a supporter of animal welfare initiatives, and as a former equestrian particularly supports charities that benefit horses.
