Shape Magazine taps the expertise of National Boudoir Photographer Rachel Stephens in their July Issue.
Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) July 09, 2013
Boudoir Photographer Rachel Stephens of Rachel Stephens Photography for Women (http://www.rachelstephensphotography.com) is featured in the July issue of an Ask The Expert article for Shape Magazine.
In what looks to be a first for a Boudoir Photographer in a major American magazine, Rachel's advice, featured in Shape was a writing collaboration stemming from her daily experiences with clients and her ability to share what she's learned via lively blog posts and her popular website. She looks forward to more/ongoing opportunities in printed media to help women feel empowered and men discover how a Boudoir Photography session invigorate relationships.
“I’ve been shooting Boudoir for over a decade and I am honored to be at the forefront now that it is mainstreaming.” Stephens said. “I’ve photographed thousands of women who open up about their lives through the stories they tell me during their sessions. I've always felt a sisterhood with other women and have always seen the positive in them. I see and capture what makes them beautiful and I think they feel this about me. This makes them feel comfortable enough to be photographed in their most vulnerable state: naked. I guess it is one reason my clients and fans call me, ‘The Naked Lady Whisperer.’ Writing about it is a just a natural progression where I can use my expertise and experience to help women... and the ones they love. It could be that the person women confide in most, more than their hairdresser, is their Boudoir Photographer.’
The ‘Ask The Expert" piece appears in Shape’s July issue ‘Live Healthy –Sex’ section.
“When Shape approached me to advise women on taking sexy pictures for their men-- I knew it was a perfect fit.” Said Stephens.
Rachel is available to interview for feature articles, dispatches or cover stories for television, print or social media.
