FALLS CHURCH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CSC today named Vincenzo Pagliaro, 50, managing director for its operations in Italy. Mr. Pagliaro previously served in senior technology leadership positions with Mediobanca S.p.A., Unicredit Group and Dexia Group.

In his new role, Mr. Pagliaro will manage all operations in Italy, leveraging his strong network in the Italian market and his deep knowledge of the information technology industry. Mr. Pagliaro will report to Claus Schünemann, vice president and general manager for CSC's Central and Eastern European region. On June 5, CSC announced that Mr. Schünemann was appointed to manage all operations in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and Eastern Europe.

Mr. Pagliaro brings to CSC nearly 30 years of experience in the information technology industry. He joins CSC from Mediobanca where he was a group chief information officer. Previously, he held technology management positions with Unicredit and Dexia Group, both financial services organizations.
