Lincoln, NE based company, Compensation Programs, Inc. (ComPro) is celebrating local patriots in a digital marketing campaign through the month of September. Local heroes will be highlighted through ComPro’s social media, website and eCommunications.
ComPro wanted to take a different approach and highlight local servants by highlighting their unique service stories. These individuals and stories will be featured throughout September and can be accessed on the ComPro Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/ComProInc?ref=ts&fref=ts and website, http://comproins.com/
"We’ve had the privilege to interview and share the stories of Nebraska's heroes. We wanted to not only recognize them for their service but we want to thank them for protecting and teaching us,” said ComPro Vice President Chris McPike.
Heroes highlighted include a fireman, police officer, military personnel, chaplain and teachers. Linda has been a business and technology teacher at Tekamah-Herman Schools for 34 years. "A teacher makes a difference in the world by enabling each of his or her students to fully maximize their talents, imagination, skills and character,” said Linda.
Dawn is an area police officer. Dawn shares the story behind the day-to-day life of being a police officer. She has seen some frightening cases in her 13 years on the force and says, “Not many jobs require multiple polygraph tests that challenge your character and morals.”
Guy is a Lincoln Firefighter. For 24 years Guy has answered Lincoln’s distress calls. “You have to mentally prepare yourself to arrive at the scene. The scene is utter chaos and we must try to make order out of the situation and stay level-headed,” said Guy.
Ray has been a Military Chaplain for over 20 years and this fall he will be returning to Japan with his wife. He has served all over the world from Naples, Italy to the Philippines. Ray has gotten to experience unforgettable memories like baptizing soldiers in the Jordan River.
