The effort to revitalize Little Italy in San Jose, a historical district that slept as other downtown neighborhoods underwent changes, took a symbolic step forward today when workers from S&S Welding crowned an archway welcoming visitors to its main commercial drag on North Almaden Boulevard. The welders installed to metal archway and the monument will be accented with brick and marble with a finish target date of Nov. 14. It's part of the neighborhood's effort to come back to life.
