Seccuris Inc. is conducting a three-hour interactive workshop on the benefits of Enterprise Security Architecture.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) October 31, 2014

Seccuris Inc. is conducting a three-hour interactive workshop on the benefits of Enterprise Security Architecture (ESA) in November. ESA is the comprehensive framework and methodology to conceive, conceptualize, design, implement and manage a business-driven security program. There is no cost for this event and it includes a complimentary breakfast.

Enterprise Security Architecture is based on Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture (SABSA), the world's leading open security architecture framework and methodology. According to Seccuris, it’s important that any company that sells internationally be aware of SABSA security practices. ESA is also in direct alignment with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidelines on state-of-the-practice security controls in the U.S. It also features other best practices and frameworks, including TOGAF, ISO 27000 series, COBIT, and PCI-DSS.

The workshop will include an overview of:· What architectural frameworks and standards exist
· How ESA integrates with current business and IT standards and practices
· How ESA methods assure business value and create new opportunities
· How an ESA can assure long-term enterprise success and resiliency

Presented by Geoff Besko, president of Seccuris and one of the only three SABSA Chartered Master Architects in North America, this workshop is ideal for security and risk management professionals, architects, IT and network practitioners, and executives wishing to gain a greater understanding of building an effective and proven security program at a time when threats and attacks are growing more complex and dangerous every day.

The workshop will be held on Nov. 20, 2014 from 8:00-11:00am at Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant. Attendees will earn three CPEs. Space is very limited, so RSVP at http://conta.cc/1wgC3UE.

One participant will also win free tuition (a $1,550 value) to Seccuris’s three-day Enterprise Security Architecture Fundamentals training course being given by Seccuris in Dallas from Dec. 8-10.
