The BioSPR by Hydro Dynamics, Inc. Key Energy is a platform for green solutions and with nearly 100,000 attendees and 1,200 exhibitors.
HDI’s European partner Three-Es of Milan, Italy (http://www.reattorespr.it) will be exhibiting the ShockWave Power Reactor (SPR) at its second of three biogas events this fall. Italy is the heart of current BioSPR activity with many commercial units already operating.
Biogas is the production of methane through the digestion of mostly waste materials. The BioSPR uses the pressure fluctuations of cavitation to treat the feedstock aiding in extraction and creating more material available for digestion. In third party verified tests and commercial operation the SPR has been shown to increase the yield of biogas by 20% or more along with a 20% reduction in time and energy use along with greater feedstock flexibility. The BioSPR also won the “Targa Beltrami 2013”, a prestigious prize for the innovation in technical equipment for energy production from renewable sources.
