This past Friday, at about 12:30 local time, Italy was struck by an earthquake. The shake was reportedly felt across the country's central and northern regions. Specialists working with the USGS say that the earthquake's magnitude was one of 5.1. Other maintain that it was one of 5.2. Information shared with the public says that, apart from causing several old buildings to crack and triggering minor collapses, the shake did not damage the areas it hit all that much.
