*BROOKLYN, Nov. 7, 2016* - Constellation Brands is announcing its most comprehensive arena sponsorship for Corona Extra , Modelo Especial and Ballast Point by aligning with Barclays Center. The agreement, which also includes a sponsorship of the Brooklyn Nets, features three individually branded bars at Barclays Center, "official beer" marketing designations and a wide-ranging array of marketing assets.

The new marketing alliance between Constellation Brands, a leading producer and marketer of beer, wine and spirits, and Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, which controls and manages Barclays Center and the Nets, has designated Corona Extra as the Official Import Beer Sponsor of Barclays Center, Modelo Especial as the Official Import Beer Sponsor of the Brooklyn Nets, and Ballast Point as an Official Craft Beer Sponsor of Barclays Center.

Corona Extra will bring the beach to Barclays Center with the Corona Extra Beach House Bar, which will be located on the main concourse. The soon-to-open branded bar will have a beach-like aesthetic, with island imagery and décor.

Casa Modelo, a Modelo Especial branded bar will be open soon on the upper concourse. The bar will feature a fusion of Brooklyn and Mexican imagery and décor.

A Ballast Point branded bar will be located on Barclays Center's main concourse.

Corona Extra and Modelo Especial are the nation's number one and number two imported beers, respectively. Ballast Point is one of the fastest-growing craft brands in the country, featuring dozens of unique and distinctive styles of beer.

Corona Extra and Modelo Especial will receive marketing exposure during a wide variety of programming events at Barclays Center, including Brooklyn Nets games, as well as through digital platforms and in-arena signage.

Got It - Hillary Agreed With Podesta Not To Distribute Confidential Intelligence By Private Email Account As reported previously, when discussing Hillary Clinton's email in which revealed US intel and strategy regarding the middle east, and disclosed that Qatar and Saudi Arabia were funding the Islamic State, John Podesta said he was willing to discuss sensitive information with his future boss Hillary Clinton while he worked for President Obama and she was a private citizen in August 2014, but he knew better than to send the intel over Clinton’s private server from his Gmail account, emails released Thursday by WikiLeaks show.

In the exchange which Hillary Clinton previewed by stating"*sources include Western intelligence, US intelligence and sources in the region"*, and who had resigned as secretary of state 18 months earlier, asked then-Obama counselor Podesta if he knew who was responsible for an Aug. 18 airstrike in Tripoli, in which unidentified bombers blew up an Islamist-controlled arms depot in the Libyan capital.  “*Yes and interesting but not for this channel,” *Podesta replied in the Aug. 19, 2014 message to Clinton’s hrod17@clintonemail.com account.

As fox previously observed, the conversation suggests that Podesta, now Clinton’s campaign chairman, was willing to provide Clinton information that had not been made public. Reports from The New York Times and The Associated Press at the time included denials of involvement from the U.S., France, Italy and Egypt and debunked claims of responsibility from a rogue Libyan general. Podesta, in his email response, indicated he had his own *sources. But he also apparently recognized he shouldn’t share the information over their personal accounts*. It's unclear if he was concerned more about the security on her clintonemail.com account or his Gmail account -- which would be hacked months later, in turn exposing the email chain Thursday.

Podesta’s concern could show that at least one close Clinton ally was aware of the risk of sharing sensitive or classified information over the unsecured server.

And today, thanks to the latest - and perhaps last - Wiki release, we know that Hillary agreed with Podesta when in the last email in that thread she replied simply, "*got it.*" It is unclear if this was the first time Hillary Clinton realized that sending potential confidential intelligence by private email is frowned upon. Akers Biosciences loads bases with European breath scan patent

Akers Biosciences (LON:AKR, NASDAQ:AKER) has won European patent protection  for its breath ketone detector.  This safeguards the technology at the heart of the device that offers a non-invasive method of monitoring diabetes. The award offers “broad coverage” of the intellectual property and “has been some years in the making”, said a “delighted” Raymond Akers, the company’s co-founder and chief scientific officer. Ketones are acids that have the potential to build up in the body causing a condition referred to as ketosis.  The company is the first to come up with a simple but effective method of detecting ketones that show up in blood and breath first before being present in urine. The BreathScan monitor offers a quick alternative to blood tests for sufferers of both type-one and type-two diabetes, but also gives Akers access to a huge weight management market. The body lapses into ketosis when it is burning off fat on certain diets – the current tests use strips and sticks to test urine. The company already has patent protection for its breakthrough product in the US. Diabetes is such a huge problem in the US that over half total diagnostic spend goes on monitoring the disease.   Take your breath away Many of the products Akers is developing use biomarkers in the breath to work their magic. They range from a rapid lung cancer detector through to a device that measures HDL, LDL and total cholesterol levels instantly. And there are a number that have “blockbuster potential”, according to the company, including one for the alcohol levels of car drivers. Last year, it reported good progress with two new breath tests launched at the World Congress on Anti‐Ageing Medicine.   Health check Using the BreathScan technology, KetoChek and OxiChek will address this growing demand in the “weight loss and anti-ageing markets." Consumers use the two tests with a bluetooth-enabled reading device, BreathScan Lync, to monitor trends in their critical metabolic processes. Suppliers of nutritional supplements and diet plans and health coaches in fitness centres would also be able to monitor clients more effectively. OxiChek measures oxidative stress, more commonly known as free radicals, in the body and is the only device of its kind on the market. Cardiac, cancer and arthritic diseases require the monitoring of free radical levels, something that Akers said can be done with its system on any smartphone or mobile. KetoChek, aimed at serious athletes and dieters, assesses if the user is in the optimal fat-burning state for weight loss, or ketosis. This state of ketosis is the aim of many low carbohydrate diets and endurance athletics. Akers said its test was the only disposable, breath-based ketone detection device on the market.   HIT test going great guns Shares in Akers have doubled this year as sales of its heparin allergy test as its commercial push gathers momentum. Again, it has the only rapid test approved by the US and EU to detect this potentially fatal allergy to the widely used blood thinner.   US patent protection granted HIT reverses the effect of heparin and turns it into a clotting agent, which is clearly very dangerous. Millions of patients around the world take heparin each year and between 1% and 5% of those patients receive a HIT diagnosis. Most at risk are patients undergoing major cardiac or orthopaedic surgical procedures.   Presence in all key markets Akers’ HIT test now has a presence in every major diagnostic market after inking agreements for India, Germany, Italy and Scandinavia last year. By the end of 2016 the product could be in 500 US hospitals. Beijing-based Novotek meanwhile has exclusive sales and marketing rights for PIFA Heparin/PF4 Rapid Assay products in China.
